Welding process flow

The development of the welding process requires consideration of many factors, including the nature of the material to be welded, the choice of welding method, and the structural type and welding performance requirements of the weldment. Generally speaking, the welding process includes the following steps:

Welding method selection: Select the appropriate welding method according to the specific situation, such as hand arc welding, submerged arc welding, argon tungsten arc welding, etc.

Welding parameter setting: Adjust current, voltage, welding speed and other parameters to ensure welding quality.

Preparation before welding: clean and polish the weldment to remove oil, rust and oxide layer.

Welding operation: Welding according to the established process, pay attention to control the stability of the welding process.

Post-welding treatment: After the completion of welding, it is necessary to carry out follow-up treatment such as heat treatment, machining or inspection.

For welding of special materials or extremely thin metals, plasma arc welding can be used. In addition, when welding electronic equipment such as printed circuit boards, special attention needs to be paid to the cleaning process after welding to ensure the reliability and stability of the product.
